Every step on this page comes from Trigify's own notice or its help centre. We have not run them on a Trigify account ourselves, and where Trigify's documentation stops, so do we.
In short
- Do it before your access ends: for most accounts, 11:59pm BST on 22 October 2026.
- Trigify says to use the export options already in the app, or to email [email protected].
- We could not find a Trigify help article that shows where the export button is, what it exports or in what format. Ask Trigify early if you rely on it.
- Two documented ways to read your searches back: Trigify's MCP server in Claude, and its REST API. Or copy each search by hand.
What Trigify says about exporting
Trigify's FAQ answers "How do I export my information?" in two parts: save anything you want to keep before your access ends, using "the existing export options available in Trigify," or email [email protected] for help, and reach out early.1
That is all the notice says. We looked through Trigify's help centre for an article on exporting and found none that names an export button, lists what it covers, or says whether it gives you a CSV. Its article on getting data into Clay, a CRM or Google Sheets describes workflows that send new results onwards as they arrive,5 and those stop when your access ends.1 They are not a way to keep what you already have.
So if you plan to use the in-app export, try it now, and email [email protected] if it does not give you what you need.
What to write down for each search
Trigify's help centre lists what a social listening search is made of.4 Keep these for every search you want to rebuild elsewhere:
- Search name
- Source or platform it watches
- Keywords, the main terms it matches
- AND and NOT terms, which narrow it or exclude noise
- Frequency, how often it runs
- Max results per run
Trigify also runs profile monitors and podcast monitors alongside keyword searches.3 If you use them, keep the profiles and podcasts each one watches.
Way 1: copy each search by hand
If you have a handful of searches, this is the surest way. Trigify's help centre says a saved search can be checked in Listening.4 Open each one there and copy the fields above into a document or spreadsheet. Nothing to set up, and nothing depends on an export working.
Way 2: ask Claude to read them through Trigify's MCP server
Trigify runs an MCP server that Claude can connect to, and its tools include list_searches ("List all your searches and monitors"), get_search and get_search_results. Trigify says none of these three uses credits.3
Trigify documents these steps for Claude on the web, which needs a Claude Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise plan:3
- In Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Add connector.
- Enter
https://api.trigify.io/mcpand save. - The first time Claude uses a Trigify tool, you are sent to Trigify to log in and authorise it. No API key is needed.
Trigify's article also covers Claude Desktop, by adding the same address to its config file.3 Once it is connected, you can ask Claude to list all your Trigify searches and monitors with their keywords, AND and NOT terms and sources, and put them in a table you can save. Check the table against Trigify before your access ends.
Way 3: Trigify's REST API
Trigify's REST API is, in its own words, "the canonical programmatic surface."2 API keys are created in Settings → API Keys, and every request carries the key in an x-api-key header.2 The API reference is linked from that same settings page; Trigify says to bookmark that link rather than rely on older URLs, because the docs have moved.2 We could not read the reference itself, so we do not list endpoints here.
After you export
Your keywords are the part worth keeping: they are what you learned about where your buyers talk. Whichever tool you move to, bring them with you. We compared the tools Trigify's customers are moving to, Handful included, on our Trigify page. If you choose Handful, send your Trigify keywords to [email protected]. We set them up for you, free.
