Credit

Handful is paid for with prepaid credit. You buy it in packs of $10.00, $25.00 or $50.00 through Stripe. Tax is added on top at checkout where it applies, and your balance is credited with the pack amount.

Each check is charged what it really cost to run — the searches, the judging and the drafting — plus a markup, and the charge is taken from your balance. Every charge is listed on your Billing and History pages. A check runs only while your balance covers its worst case, and nothing is ever invoiced after the fact.

Credit is prepaid and non-transferable: it belongs to your account and cannot be moved to another. Paid credit does not expire.

The signup credit is a gift. It has no cash value, cannot be refunded or transferred, and expires on the date shown on your Billing page. It is spent before paid credit.

Following Handful on LinkedIn adds $1.00 of credit, once per account. It is a gift like the signup credit, except that it does not expire.

Auto-recharge

If you turn it on, a fixed amount, plus any tax, is charged to the card your last pack was paid with when your balance runs low, at most once a day. Your balance is credited with the fixed amount; the tax is charged on top. You can turn it off on your Billing page at any time.

Refund policy

Unused paid credit is refundable. Write to [email protected] from the address on your account and the unused part of what you paid is refunded to the card it came from, including the tax charged on it. Credit already spent on checks is not refunded. Signup and follow credit have no cash value and are not refunded.

Refunds are made by SignalsAPI through Stripe and appear on your Billing page as they are made.
